People who’ve had the series 5/6 in the natural titanium colour for a while - how does it hold up? Please post age and pics.

TIA

I purchased this S6 Ti on June 26, 2021 and have worn it every day and night since. (I charge it for an hour right after I wake up.) I work from home and have a desk job. Other than walking the dog 3X per day, I don't do much outside. It still looks pristine to me. And the crystal is flawless, which is what I would expect for sapphire. Let me know if you have any other questions. I love mine and am glad I chose the Ti over the SS.

Lemon Cream Sport Band. I think the speck you see above the attractive arm hair is just dust, as is the fiber on the crystal.

Another benefit to the raw Ti is one's ability to polish out some/most scratches. Look on Youtube for videos on this. You can buy an expensive pad designed for polishing Ti, or you can use the rough dark green side of a kitchen sponge. In the video I watched he had some pretty ugly scratches on his AW that he was able to polish out by rubbing this dark green pad back and forth in line with the texture lines that are already in the Ti. Keep in mind this is for raw Ti only. You can't do that with the black Ti because of the danger that you would polish right through the coating. There is also a special (but different) polishing cloth that they use on the SS, but it has to be the raw SS because again, it could damage the gray/black/gold coating.

Just another reason I love my S6 44mm raw Ti AW.

Just a note - I hope you are not planning on purchasing a raw Ti AW new from Apple. Buzz on the forum is that they are no longer available. I have looked on the website (just for fun) and found the same thing to be true. But maybe you are purchasing one 2nd hand, in which case fill your boots!

I got the series 5 raw Ti and it has held up exceptionally well. I don't lord over my watch trying to protect it from any slight damage, just wear it as a normal watch. Weight training is the riskiest thing with regards to watch integrity I've subjected it to, or maybe working in the engine bay on cars. Some of the cables and grips have rubbed against it and I accidentally hit the face on the rack a few times. I could buff out the small scuffs I do see if I wanted to, they aren't deep. I bought it because it was one of the tougher models made and it has lived up to its reported strengths. When the benefits of a newer release begin to outweigh the cost I may upgrade, but I don't see that happening any time soon. I would get another raw Ti for sure.

I am in Australia and here it’s still available. I’m just waiting for the s7 though and most likely will go for the titanium version if available. Thanks though!

Any others who have had there’s for a year or two maybe? It would be good to know how it has held up.

Got mine this week, and it is VERY easy to scratch. It’s an s7 natural ti, and my friend was comparing it with his s6 Nike. He put both on his wrist, and upon the slightest contact, it put some very noticeable scratches on the case.

On the bright side, the titanium scratches look amazing. It gives it a nice character unlike an old stainless steel iPod. I’m actually looking forward to it scratching more, because paired with an old brown leather band, it looks pretty bada**. If you’re deciding between the dlc titanium and natural titanium, definitely go natural.

Did you have a Series 5 or 6 titanium? Would love to see a scratched up one to see how it looks!
