After I upgrading to watchOS 6 when I try to run a shortcut via Siri, it does not work. I get the message ‘Sorry Shortcuts is currently unavailable on Apple Watch.’

Is there a way to get this to work?

As far as I know, there is no way to get it working.

Shortcuts on HomePod do also not work.

Strange thing is that one does not find lot about this problem in the web?

No idea if an update will fix this or if Apple can fix this server side.

Same issues here. HomePod and watch just don't do them. Just told "Shortcuts not currently available on HomePod/Apple Watch." Quite frustrating.

Same issue here. It started for me sometime during beta process, figured it was just a glitch that would be fixed by the Final release.

Same here. I really hope they are not removing support. It was always very slow on the watch, but at least it worked on watchOS 5.

I wonder if this means my shortcuts to switch off wifi automatically when I leave home will work now. Just a reminder to run the shortcut is silly, it needs to be activated automatically depending on location
