Cant believe i read some of these replies saying thats the intended use case. No ones arguing that it isnt, just that its dumb to not give the option.

I agree with you, and have since I first bought an apple watch in January 2017. I'd like the discrete ability, on an app by app basis, to indicate that I want these notifications in the stock way (on the watch when the phone is locked but on the phone when it is unlocked and active), or only on the watch, or only on the iPhone, or on both - even if it's a duplicate. I'm a big boy, I can deal with it.

Let the default be the default, but give us more discrete options.
