I was making a positive comment about whoever designed the site.
Your's just a waste of space.

And a negative comment about the Apple Watch, at least one of which appears with minutes on every single Appple Watch article, as if dispatched from the naysayers hive mind.

Well I'm sure somebody got it anyway.

Is it just is here on macrumors or is most of the world pretty indifferent about this thing? It almost feels like a flop before it's been released!

Based on your profile you seem to have been long time in this forum, actually long enough to realise that the opinion of forum members here regarding Apple's new products means absolutely nothing. For every single new product that Apple have released on the last decade, genius forum members here have predicted it will be a flop! Their comments are laughable to read now but embarrassing for them.

It will definitely be a hit with Apple fans. The question is will the "normal people" buy it?

Everyone in my office knows the apple watch is coming, aside from the IT team, and two other dude, no one knew that other companies made smart watches, including the pebble.

Even some of them are planning on getting one.

They are not on the forums.

Interesting how MR keep pushing that its a design piece for individualisation and tailoring to people and yet have the audacity to make the leap of faith at a certain combination (ie space grey and green) are not attractive ... Way to push your ill formed opinion on the masses

For the record that's the likely combination I will go for and have been thinking for quite some time

The Apple watch follows its Beats acquisition. Any discussion of the two products bring out the detractors on cue. And for good reason.

that only proves that they dont know much at all in this regard.

Right, and that underscores Ihatefall's point that Apple's watch will most likely find success beyond just the Mac loyal fan base because even people that don't follow tech know about Apple's watch. Hell, they'll probably think Apple invented the smart watch and all the others are cheap imitations and that will make people even more likely to buy the :apple:Watch.

Instead of attacking the naysayers for their honest opinion, which we are all entitled to, even you, why don't you state what you like about it.

If it irks you to read so many people's "negative comments" about the Appple Watch that you can barely spell English words correctly, then either don't read them or contribute something positive.

Judging by your comments history, you're more interested in contributing noise rather than a signal.

Fact remains, the success or failure of a brand new Apple product is not pre-ordained. We're all pundits here until the 1st quarter sales figures are in.

Like I stated elsewhere, I have no ill-wishes towards the Apple watch, I just don't see the need for me.

You got that right! Including yours!

MR is a form of entertainment. The comments aren't half as bad as elsewhere.
Embarrassment is often projected by those that feel the need to gloat about their own predictions. Otherwise, it's just an anecdote.

Not digging the colored fluroelastemer bands with the darker aluminum. I still think the models on Apple's website are the best looking.

This is classy
LOL

I'll probably go with a space black stainless steel case with a space black link bracelet or a black modern buckle. It all depends on the price now.

Well, this pretty much helped me decide on the Space Gray aluminum. And hopefully just buy the black stainless steel band afterwards. Either that or the milanese loop.

You, Juli Clover, are not attractive.

I'm kidding.

But what you said is your opinion. This is a subjective issue, and I am confident that any/every combination of  Watches and accessories would appeal to someone, just like every person has someone somewhere who finds him/her attractive.

I recommend that you report the news, and that you leave your opinions to your blog.

If there's people who like that hideous iPhone 5C cases, that won't be an issue.

Attacking someone for a typo. That would be lowest form of online argument.

I've discussed Apple Watch in detail in dozens of threads, contributing quite a lot I think. But in fact I don't have to state my own opinion about it here or anywhere else to point out the profusion of generic negative comments that appear in every single one of them, always within minutes of them being posted. They are generally lacking in actual content, as was yours. I apologize humbly for noticing that, and also that you didn't seem to feel any need to be substantive in your comments, but that you are demanding it from others.

So, speaking of noise...

Found a bug on the website by clicking too quickly.

While the band is fading in/out, click on a different case. The band abruptly disappears and you're left with just the case alone. You can click on the other cases and it'll keep swapping between cases fine, but the band won't reappear until you change your band selection.

I tried making the case disappear by clicking on the band while it was transitioning the case but that didn't seem to trip it up.

Also, if you select the green fluoroelastomer band, the background color tints slightly, which is particularly noticeable if you're viewing your screen at an angle.

What's wrong with the grey/green combo? I think it looks pretty cool myself.

Some people just don't have an eye for fashion these days.

It's pretty baffling that someone could think silver/acid green is fine but charcoal/acid green is so wrong it's news worthy!

I think it's a great combo.

If I was trying to describe a coloristic clash I'd go green strap / gold or pink/red rubber strap and rose gold - proper clashing!

I'm a little concerned that the article says some bands might not be available for the 38mm version. There's going to be a limited number of bands I can wear with my nickel allergy and if all the leather loop ones are out I may be in trouble. The modern buckle has the buckle, which is the metal part that typically affects me the most.

Yea, well, I don't spend as much time as you on MR. Apparently your annoyance stems from others jumping on your case.
I just happen to be sitting in front of my computer when the story came in. I wasn't trying to beat any record or add to your nuisance.

Just go away already.

My case isn't being jumped on, but points for imagination. Subtraction for rudeness. You get that a lot I suspect.
