Hey all, new to the forum, but a long time lurker. I just got my wife an Apple Watch, today was the first day we paired it. It worked great for the first hour or so but then the screen went snowy/fuzzy all of a sudden. Tried to do a hard reset but when the phone starts back up the screen is immediately the same. Any ideas? I'm curious if anyone's seen this yet? A shot if the scree is below.

Thanks!

Looks like a defective Watch to me. I would return it at the Apple store or where you bought it.

TxWatch

Went to Apple, they wouldn't replace it on the spot as I bought it from another non-Apple store. So I have to make a genius appointment for them to send it back to get either replaced or repaired. Sucks. I think I'll try replacing it through who I bought it from first, might be quickest.

If you bought it at Best Buy or Target, they should do it since you have until Mid-Jan to return them for a full refund.

i assume the point was, not on the spot. return by post and be sent a new one (will they even do that simultaneously?)

What I was saying is B&H will give you no trouble about rerunning a defective product. That are a good company. If they just bought it B&H will replace with a brand new one on the spot without a question.

What I'm saying is on the spot is a very specific term that means you have to physically receive it there and then when you tell them it's broken. It means they need to go to a physical location for it to be replaced on the spot.

If I did not make my self clear. B&H would replace this just purchased watch ON THE SPOT just like apple. If it is past the return period B&H can make their own rules and you should read them before you buy. It is why I like AC+ for the watch as Apple will replace it via overnight shipping if your current one is broken.

You are still not understanding the point.

An online retailer cannot physically replace something on the spot.

Apple also do not replace on the spot through AC+. The best you can get is the overnight expedited shipping. If you go into a Genius Bar they'll send it away and make you wait.

If you go to B&H with a watch you just purchased and it is broken, B&H will replace it on the spot. Even if you bought it via on-line and take it back to B&H they will replace it on the spot! After B&H's return period, which they set, I agree they will no longer replace it and it is then up to the owner to deal with Apple. I never said that Apple will replace on the spot unless you are within the return period. At that point you can return it for a refund and buy another.

If you are past the return period Apple will send it away to be fixed or you need to call and have Apple overnight you another if you have AC+.

I understand the point perfectly, do you?
