Apple Watch Sport, Space Grey or Gold?

I am planning on getting an Apple Watch within the next month. I do like the newer gold color, but not sure how it would look with other sport bands. The Space Grey also looks great. Based on Apple's website though, the Space Grey is only available with a black band and the gold is available with a stone band in 38mm or navy band in 42mm. My job limits the colors of bands we are able to wear so regardless of which watch I get I will have to buy an additional band or two. I also heard rumors that the lime green band was going away. Any suggestions or comment?

It's really a very personal decision. I wear a lot of black and gray so space gray was a no brainer for me. My wedding set and other ring I wear are platinum and my other daily jewelry is white gold... so yellow gold in a watch would have been a no go for me.

I hadn't heard about the lime green going away! So glad I picked it up this weekend!!!! I LOVE changing the sport bands on my watch. I have several of the colors and it's just part of picking out my clothes now... to pick out which watch band. Even if you are limited at work by band colors.... you may ultimately end up getting some for off work wear! (be careful.... watch bands are ADDICTIVE!)

I will say that the gold sport band looks absolutely GORGEOUS with the mignight blue band! (and it looks great with the space gray, too! that's what I have on today!) I'm thinking orange or the NOTpink (salmon) band probably wouldn't look so great with the gold sport....

That is exactly why I am torn between the space grey or gold. Although I am limited in bands I can wear at work, it.s when I am off work I would most likely change them out. I love the lime green one, my iPhone 6 cover is the lime green one and now that the 6s is out, that color is gone now. I am also interested in the product red, orange , and I do like the midnight blue.as well. Maybe I will stop by the Apple Store and look at them in person again.

ya... that lime green is hot! when I was buying it on Saturday, hubby asked how often I'd wear it (based on him knowing I don't have a lot (any!?) lime green in my wardrobe! HAHA! but it's such a FUN color!

I can wear it when I wear all black and I do have a few cute workout outfits that have green!

I ordered the orange but returned it... my reason was when I put in next to the product read and NOT pink (salmon) it was too close to each of them! pretty much anything I would/could wear orange with, I could wear the NOTpink (salmon) and probably even the product red in some cases since it's more an orangey red. (plus there again: no real orange in my wardrobe... whereas I've been adding the NOTpink (salmon) to include a new purse and shoes! haha!)

midnight blue... already told you I love that one!

I have/will have the vintage pink coming today. (I have black, white, NOTpink (salmon), midnight blue, fog, product red, vintage pink & green) I figure that's a good assortment for picking and choosing (until they come out with another batch of colors!)

I started with the Space Gray Sport when they were new, traded for the SS Watch, returned it after two weeks.. then bought the Gold Sport with Midnight Blue band.. waiting on brown Classic buckle, (it's backordered)..

My phone is Gold, my MacBook is Space Gray and my iPod and MBP are silver, so I'm not anti any of the colors..

I traded away my SS for the Sports gold model with midnight blue band. The watch looks great with:

1. Midnight Blue Sports Band
2. Black leather loop
3. Blue Leather Loop
4. Black sports band
5. White sports band
6. Red sports band.

Would probably look good with anything brown/bronze or neutral as well. You'd probably accept that black is always least likely to clash with anything, but you'd be surprised how many things go well with gold.

I bought my iWatch today. Ended up getting the space grey with the black band and I picked up the green band as well to match my iPhone 6 case. So far totally love it.

I had a similar challenge. sold my space grey to buy the gold sport. the space grey seemed too much like a smart watch being all black, the gold sport was immediately more fashionable for me. I absolutely loved it. They key is definitely in the bands though.

I am also addicted to changing my band daily. I just upgraded my Rose Gold sport to SS (which I love.) All my bands will look great with it - I hope.

We are almost matched on our colors with the exception of the vintage pink. I also have the orange, green, and a few off market bands in purple, yellow and almost an indigo blue. So much fun!
