Apple Watch Stuck On "Too Many Password Attempts"

My wife's AW has been stuck on this and we can't reset it or anything. I even tried placing it on the charger and doing the hard reset by pressing and holding the side button "power off", but it won't even get to that point. It just stays on the time. Can someone help please?! Thanks in advance.

Not necessarily.. the watches display should get black and the apple should appear, i hope.

Rebooting the Watch isn't a passcode workaround. I think you have two choices:

1. Wait until the appropriate time has elapsed and then unlock the watch.
2. Reset the Watch as if you have forgotten the passcode.

If you forgot the passcode to your Apple Watch, you'll need to reset the watch and set it up again.

Ok...got it to work. I guess I wasn’t pressing down hard or long enough on the “turn off” slider.
