I have an older Apple Watch but it still works great, until today. for some reason from today when I put it on charge I only get an apple logo on the screen instead of going into bedside mode. The watch works perfectly well when not on charge, but as soon as I connect the charger I just get a white apple logo.

Once it happens, the only way to get it back to being a watch (even when off the charger) is a hard reset and reboot.

Any ideas what's caused this? The only thing that change sin installing Path Finder on my Mac, but I can't see how that caused the issue.

That’s very interesting as my S2 watch since I updated to iOS 16 last week has starting doing random restarts with the Apple logo and chime when I place it on the charger each night.
Never had a single issue for 5 years before this.

Have paired the watch to my 14 Pro Max yesterday and I’m still having the random rebooting problem when the watch is placed on the charger.

I tried everything with my S2 and its still chiming or rebooting/chiming when i put it on the charger.

I tried another AW on the same charger and no problem.
