After having a number of different Apple Watches over the years, I’ve managed to scratch the glass on my current watch and is quite visible.

I was thinking of upgrading to an ultra 2 (currently have series 8)

I have been looking for a solution to protect the glass and watch its self and have seen a couple of solutions such as the Spigen Hybrid case.

Does anyone use these type of cases and if so, what’s your thoughts on them? Or maybe you are able to recommend an alternative case/solution.

Just don’t want to pay out for the watch and end up scratching the case/housing

In the middle of several books.
A case can add a lot of bulk to the watch. It also requires removing on a regular basis to clean the inside. I don't use a case with my ultra 2. When I am at work, I use a Nike sweat band to cover the watch.

The Ultra screen won't scratch as easy as the aluminum watch model screen can.

Yeah I read about having to remove the case regularly to keep it clean which isn’t ideal.

I heard that the housing of the watch scratches quite easily though which is another reason I was looking at the cases

I have smacked my Ultra several times accidentally, and there isn't a mark on it!

not sure where you've heard that, had Ultra for 1 year, flawless, Ultra 2 is flawless too.

If you are concerned about scratches, keep the watch in its box, it's a tool, not jewelry
Thanks for your input 🙄 I’m was looking for feedback not sarcasm.

I’ve heard and seen pictures on this forum of how easily it scratches.
