So the Apple Watch ultra is released, my fiancé and I each got one for the durability and better battery life.

Hers is on TMobile and mine is on Verizon, but both of them can’t connect to cellular. Mine goes back and forth on “connected” and “not connected” but never actually has signal.
She had signal for a little bit this morning but now it’s “not connected”.

We are both going to call the respective carriers to see what’s up, but out of curiosity, has anyone else experienced this on the ultra?

Turn your phone off otherwise how do you know it doesn’t have a connection? It doesn’t use cellular if it’s close to your phone or on Wi-Fi.

I have turned my phone off. I know it doesn’t have a connection because it’s not working. Trust me, if it were as simple as a small test I wouldn’t have posted this.

Also, just because it won’t use it doesn’t mean it won’t show it as “connected” - the cell icon will still turn blue vs white to show there’s a connection.

Thanks for the help everyone! I finally had a chance to call Verizon and it was as simple as them having to “reset” someone thing on my account.

Not sure what it was exactly, but it took them about 15 min and it automatically started to work!
