Have a Series 8 and I'm highly interested in jumping to the Ultra but I have a real dilemma, don't like any of the bands offered for the Ultra, always loved the old reliable fluroelastometer Sport Band of the regular watch. Need some info and ideas from Ultra owners how can I solve this situation... or just stick with Series 9 anyway

Is not going to looke weird or strange on the Ultra?

Take you band with you to your nearest Apple store. They will let you try your band on the display model to see if you like it. Or if you have a friend with an Ultra 1 or 2, as them to try it.

I use my Nomad silver Ti bracelet, I love it...

I use regular bands on my ultra for certain scenarios, most often a Nike sport loop when I’m at the gym and it looks fine. If you like the regular bands perhaps an ocean band may work for you 😃

Have a ton of bands but always end up back with the Nike or Apple Sports Bands. The 3rd hole on the small size just fits me perfectly. No other band has felt as perfectly sized for me as those.

I use a Nike Sports type band on a regular basis with my Ultra. It fits and looks fine.

I also wasn't thrilled about the bands that come with the Ultra 2, so I was happy when the person helping me in the Apple store pointed out that I could use the bands from my S7 45. I think they look just fine and even make the Ultra appear a little less bulky.

I like the newer Nike sport loops that now have a slightly different lug … they look great with the Ultra 2 😁

I don't think it'll look weird but you might have issues with the length depending on your wrist.

I upgraded some a Series 4 to an Ultra. With my Series 4, I used a Sport Loop (the one that is basically velcro). I tried to use the Sport Loop on my Ultra; the lugs fit just fine, but the Loop was too long (I have small wrists). It was so long that there was a tailend that had nothing to attach to and it would just dangle. I couldn't use the Loop with my Ultra for that reason.

Of course not, they look perfectly fine! Check out the „Show off your Apple Watch“ thread here and judge for yourself. Many people including myself have posted lots of great pics of Ultras with all kinds of bands :)

Don't let watch bands stop you from going to Ultra. Go to Temu and get as many bands as you like
