I've looked online the last five days and have not seen any Ultra availability in store regardless of band type. I know there was on launch day but looks completely sold out and unlike iPhone doesn't appear any new ones are trickling in. Has anyone seen any in store availability for Ultra after launch weekend?

I haven't seen any in the north east since the first weekend. I wanted to see it in person first and couldn't make it to a store. I cant remember how frequently the previous models restocked. I do recall some had it down to a science in regards to the time to check the stores stock online. Any insight would be appreciated though. Not trying to wait a month.
I walked into an Apple store in DC yesterday and they had a Ultra to try on (with different bands too) they just didn't have any in stock.
Well, i was at Zurich for the launch day and every ultra was sell only with order.
then I come back to France, the next morning 24 I was right in front of the Apple Store at opening and take the 1 of 5 watch available.
i never thought it could be so hard to get one.
i think I get mine because someone canceled his order. You can try si opportunity.

I have searched 3-4 times a day using zip codes across the US and haven't come across a single one available for pickup and any store after launch weekend.
Here in the Netherlands we have 3 Apple Stores and today all of the Apple Stores had the Ultra in stock. It did sold out very quickly though.
you have to be persistent and patient. Last year I was doing this for 2-3 weeks to get a Ti S7. And, they don't get deliveries every day
Per above. I find the inventory per store is reported at different times. Last night found one while searching for an iPhone 14 Pro Max 512GB. Trying to catch one earlier than my online order which is still processing.
I just grabbed one with the green Alpine Loop in Vancouver, Canada. I just went online and found it. I have been checking sporadically over the last few days. Keep trying throughout the day. It will show up when you least expect it.
I was able to find one locally to perform an exchange (I had an issue with my original Apple Watch Ultra). I don’t know how I got lucky but my only guess is that someone had it purchased for pickup from last week but went ahead and cancelled that order. I go super lucky.

Just now ordered one from Costco, says that it delivers this Thursday (we'll see). Yellow Ocean band -- not a popular color maybe, but this is the one my wife was most interested in.
Pro-tip: find the one that you want, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. Where it says Pickup, you'll see something like "Currently unavailable at Apple YourNearestStore". Click the name of the store. Enter your zip code and Search.
Now leave this tab open. Revisit this tab regularly, and just hit "Search" again to see if any new inventory came in.
At least in NYC, the ones that seem to be popping up in stock are the ones with White Ocean bands. Refreshed a few times this morning, saw new stock, and ordered for pickup.

Earlier today there were very few that showed up in stock at the apple store I normally frequent.
Got my blue ocean Ultra from Apple Rancho Cucamonga on the Saturday after launch.
There were a ton in stock all over the Los Angeles area for a few hours, then nothing.

Well you’ll have to check other stores other than just Apple Store. Best Buy had the Ultra with ocean band (all three colors) available last night for a few hours; I ordered mine last night for pickup this Saturday at my local Best Buy.
I just picked up another AWU but with the Midnight Ocean band and the orange Alpine Loop strap at the Apple store.
My first AWU which I got at launch doesn't properly sync with my phone for the Workouts I do. For example, I did two workouts last Sunday - weight training and then a cardio exercise - 50 minutes each. It only recorded one of them in the Fitness app. Then yesterday and today I did cardio for 50 minutes each. Both are not showing up on the app again.
Come to think of it, let me start a thread about this to check if it's Ultra or an OS bug.
