I've read that coming "later", a number of Apple Watches including the Ultra will have international roaming enabled.

For example, this is what 9to5 Mac has to say: https://9to5mac.com/2022/09/24/apple-watch-ultra-features-not-available/
International Roaming: Another exciting Apple Watch feature – which will soon be available, thanks to watchOS 9 – is the possibility to use your Watch in any country, thanks to international roaming. Apple said it has partnered with 30 carriers, but this feature isn’t properly working yet for users to try it out.

I'm currently in Canada (visiting from US) and international roaming does not seem to work with my Apple Watch Ultra. Does anyone know if the international roaming feature is supposed to already be working or are we waiting for another point-update from Apple before this works?

My home carrier service provider is T-Mobile
