The new Apple Watch Ultra ships with a braided Apple Watch to USB-C charger, according to Apple's product page, the "What's in the box" section, and Apple Store retail documentation seen by MacRumors. The Apple Watch Ultra is the first Apple Watch to ship with the uniquely braided cable.

The Apple Watch Ultra features an all-new design that's more rugged with advanced features for athletes, hikers, swimmers, and more. The Apple Watch Ultra costs $799 and is available for pre-order today and will begin arriving to customers on Friday, September 23.

I was looking forward to a new watch but gonna pass at $1100 Canadian. My series 5 will just need to do with the display turned off to last a work day.

I see they have added bluetooth location spying on the charger. I already ditched the phone for spying. BTW, no one knows how extensive the bluetooth spying is. Just location, or notifications of prohibited content on devices, or listening to the wrong podcast?

Maybe, but that is still a sheetload of Canuckbux. I paid CA$499 for a stainless steel cellular (S5) Milanese two years ago, although granted it was a one-year old clearance model.

Looking forward to buying this on sale after I beef my wrists up a lot. Surely everyone noticed that giant honk on everyone's wrist after it was announced.

Tim Cook wearing one said it all. This is not about diving, mountain climbing, or triathlon running. It's about having the very best and most expensive Apple Watch at a slightly more realistic price than the Edition.

If I could wear a giant slab on my wrist I might actually get one, but I'll wait for this technology to trickle down to the "regular" Watch.

The bezel is way too wide on Ultra. The display area on Ultra is 1164 sq mm vs 1143 sq mm on a regular Watch 8: not much larger.
