Apple Watch Wifi+Wifi Extender

Hello, I have a problem with wifi conection with my watch.

I have main router+TP LINK TL-WA850RE (repeater). I think my apple watch won't connect with repeater, while iPhone is connected to the main router. I bought repeater to help my apple watch connection when signal from main router is fair. What can I do to force my apple watch connect with extender ?

I have my iPhone connected to the extender by default and it works for the watch as well.

What I think you need to do is connect your iPhone (at least temporarily) to the extender and then the watch should learn that network and work in the future.

There is probably more to it, but I'm not fluent with the tech involved.
