Hey guys, I tried to update to Beta 3 with no avail yesterday. Tried to do a reset on my watch to start fresh. However now I can't sign in to my Apple ID, it keeps saying "there was a problem connecting to server".

Been going on for the past four hours. So I doubt it's on apples end...

Any help would be great...
 
There was something about that in the release notes. I think the fix is to sign out of iMessage or iCloud, pair the watch and skip iCloud/iMessage during set up and signing into it after the installation.

I'm typing this off the top of my head but you could either check one of the watch beta threads, the release notes or the Apple watch subreddit.
 
You need to sign out of iMessage on your phone, then skip the log into iCloud during watch setup, as HH says above - then you can update the watch firmware and restore the message settings/

So just turn off iMessage and skip the iCloud sign in?
