Dark Sky interface was way better and less complicated visually, Apple really can't do good layouts lately, still p'eed off with them about the finder flexible spaces bug since BIG SUR, bout time overpaid and under-equipped TC & CF left
Apple Weather is broken from the heart in Germany. False Weather on a daily basis and therefor completely useless for planning outside activities. Shame on Apple for the poor data of their app. Third party wearther app obligate.
Apple's Weather app for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac is down for some users, according to Apple's System Status page.
Apple says that the Weather app may be slow or unavailable for some users, and that the outage has been ongoing since 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
There have been reports of issues with the Weather app all day, though not all users are impacted. There was previously a major Weather outage in April that prevented the app from displaying data.

How have they killed it? It is working right now, as it does for the vast majority of the time.
Occasional downtime does not = killed.
Truly don't understand how such basic things are again and again and AGAIN a problem for a company like Apple.
Meteorology is a science. Complicated, extremely difficult, still improving. I'm amazed at the achievements already. Astrology, on the other hand, is 100% garbage.
Actually almost every other weather source is much more precise than Apple Weather unfortunately. Check Foreca, Yr.no, The Weather Channel, etc., they will be almost identical while Apple Weather is different.
I am not sure what's happening with the Weather app. I assumed after they bought Dark Sky they would make use of their highly accurate data sources to make the stock weather app the #1 weather app. However, the forecast here in the UK is absolutely abysmal and highly unreliable and has been for 18 months. In the last 2-3 months it's got even worse. It's now so bad that I can't rely/trust it.
We’ve given up on Apple Weather (nèe the excellent DarkSky). Now use Clime only and it has been quite accurate.
I totally agree. I tried to use it and didn't like it. I hate the colors on the radar and its so slow so I switched to Foreca.
Seriously. How is this an ongoing thing? Didn’t we solve weather forecasts via the internet like 20-25 years ago?
In defense of Apple, the most important alerts are accurate and timely. I have a weather radio and when there are tornado warnings or severe thunderstorm warning, the app is usually only 30-45 seconds behind the radio to alert me. That’s pretty good in my eyes.
That being said the app currently tells me there’s a thunderstorm outside, but there’s not a drop of rain on the radar. 🤦🏻♂️

I think having "768" unread messages and "41 missed calls" will freak me out more than the weather lol
Podcast app could be worse than that. Completely unintuitive and illogical interface.
Trained meteorologist. I live in a very dynamic weather area with frequent changes. Apple is seriously deficient in the this app. App is frequently inaccurate and buggy.

Weather app from apple has bogus forecasts at least here in Europe. It happend with the switch to the new weather data provider I think.
