Apple weather app not updating temperature on watch

It’s also not working on my phone. A hard close and reopen also fails to get it to update, neither does a phone reboot. What’s going on?

Weather data are provided by Weather Channel. If they are down or not providing data, then Watch/phone cannot update. Or if there is an internet/cellular data connection issue.
Have you had this issue for more than a day?

Currently is working for me (California), btw

This is the second day I’ve noticed it. Connection should be fine.

Does the weather app on the phone have permission to use cellular data?
