Just a funny little mistake i saw on apple website.
i didnt know final cut ran on windows!
That's how editors roll today. They get a set of headphones, a sheet of paper, some funny looking microphone and just use their voice to command FCP, but that only works when Windows is run via a VM, which can translate the speech commands and send them via XLR to FCP.
Seriously, do you expect FCP to run in a speaker's booth?
considering this is and advert for final cut studio it seems rather, lets say bizarre, to have windows clearly running.
or have apple just bought Microsoft?
(and in FCS you do get soundtrack pro FYI, http://www.apple.com/uk/finalcutstudio/soundtrackpro/ )
They totally did. They went out and bought a company that earns more and is worth more than they are for a basket of muffins and a half eaten breakfast.
Why would a sound booth run Soundtrack Pro? The audio technician would run it, but not the speaker.
Maybe it's just a stock photo?
And I know what software titles are in FCP, I have it at work.
