Apple Webcam

Can anyone recommend a webcam for me? I am looking for a camera close to the apple isight. I run an imac g5 with os 10.3.9. I would like to use it for AIM, Yahoo chatting. Finding a camera for the mac is frustrating. I dont know why they discontinued the isight.

I don't know if they really did discontinue it. They might bring back something even more amazing at MacWorld in January. I would wait until then; that's my recommendation. I don't know enough of anything else to recommend.

Is there any source with this or just a hunch? I mean Janurary is quite a long time!

I just bought the xbox 360 webcam and have been using it every day.

It's pretty fantastic. You just plug it in and it works.

Also very cheap, and I believe it has better quality than the original isights.

No autofocus, but it's a damn good buy.

I use an g4 ibook with mac os 10.4.10
