How well does the White Apple silicone case for the iPhone 7/7 Plus hold over months of use? Any discolouration or chipping of the case?

I'm planning on buying one for my Matte Black iPhone 7 Plus but not sure how well it will hold up to regular wear and tear and especially with it being white...if there will be more permanent marks/stains.

Any users who have the white silicone case care to share their experiences?

Thanks

I have one, as I read that the darker colours may become discoloured especially on parts that rub often with your hands. So far, it holds pretty well, no major discolouration - it stays pure white.

The thing, though, is that when you accidentally stains it (whether with newspapers ink, pen ink, or anything like that) you gotta scrub it right away, otherwise it might leave a permanent mark on it when you leave it for too long. It's easy to clean and the stain will go away easily, unlike on the leather cases, which is quite impossible to clean when you have such stains.

But just recently, it got accidentally smeared with yellow kind of sauce/spice from my food and it stayed for a long time (it went unnoticed by me). By the time I realised it was there, it left a permanent mark already. I tried scrubbing it with soap and water, but the yellow mark is still visible.

So my advice is, there's no major discolouration issue - it holds its white colour pretty well, but when you accidentally leave stain, clean it quickly before it stays permanently.

And one more thing, it adds quite a significant weight to the phone - especially when you hold it for a longer period of time. My other case: http://www.mydevia.com/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=129&id=239 feels a lot lighter :)

This is my white silicone case. It has a tiny bit of "shininess" on the bottom corners but that's almost unnoticeable. The case stilll looks pretty white a I give it a rub down with a anti-bac wipe once a week. Owned it since last year, still looks pretty new to me and no tearing like some other users have. I once got some pasta sauce on it and it left a mark but I used a magic eraser to remove it and it was pristine again with little effort.

Unless your work or other circumstances truly requires it, please don't buy or use antibacterial products, all you're doing is toughening up the little buggers, making them more dangerous and harder to kill.

Try a regular microfiber cloth instead, maybe slightly moistened if you need to get stains off.

My work requires it.

I have the battery case for the 6s and it's the same material... it holds up fine but everything sticks to it.
