I have had the white silicone case for my iPhone 12 Mini for two weeks, and it looks like it is beginning to yellow around the front lip edge. I had the white silicone for my iPhone 8 for almost a year, and there was no yellowing at all- it was as bright white as the day I bought it. Anyone else seeing this?

After looking very carefully under bright light, it looks like it is wear (not dirt or oil). Almost like the silicone layer is off-white with thin white on top. I have been taking my phone in and out many times trying to decide on going no case. It looks like this repeated use could be causing this. The bottom lip, on the outside by the ports, looks to be wearing too. The back and back corners and sides look fine. When this wear happened on my iPhone 8 white silicone, the under layer was a shiny bright white (you could only notice in the right light glare). I’ll keep an eye on it and update.

I’ve had the white silicone case for my mini since launch day and have taken it off and put back on so many times (super indecisive about what case I’m using, haha) and it still looks like new!
if it gets worse I’m sure Apple would replace it especially since it’s only a couple weeks old!
