Does it require a Pro Max device? I can’t get those little icons to appear on my iPhone 14 Pro unless I put the display zoom in default mode. On promax devices you can put the display zoom set to Larger and you still get the little icons.
I prefer the larger icon mode but then all that disappears.

Interesting, though I wonder if they will actually verify the senders/callers. If someone spoofs walgreens phone number, will they show up with this fancy logo?
Not sure what they will do for calls, but I just ran through the Branded Mail setup and they require you to have DMARC enabled for your domain to make sure no one can spoof your address.

I actually miss when Facebook used to sync profile pics and birthdays to the contact cards. I haaaate uploading/sharing my contacts list with apps but its beneficial depending on your profession.

Why? Easier to differentiate legit emails from scammers if they have a verified logo.
Half of the mail will still have no logo because most companies have no particular interest in jumping through hoops for Apple, and half of those who do will forget that some of their mails are sent from different domains or subdomains. You’ll still don’t know if it’s fake or not in many cases, and the logos will feel more like an unsolicited ad in your inbox than anything else.

Coud Apple please, PLEASE extend this to using Trademarks to limit App Store searches. It is incredibly frustrating/frightening to search on a Trademarked word to find an app, and have the actual app be rows down in the listing because scam apps have linked to that search term. I honestly have a hard time with this. If Apple will not limit search results to the TM owner, at least highlight the TM owner's app with a different background color or something. Thx Tim.
💯 this drives me crazy too!

also, maybe don’t show ads ABOVE a ™ owner for an exact match? if i search for “chipotle” the results should not be Uber Eats first, then Chipotle 🙄

Until it gets spoofed and Apple says "it's the user's responsibility to confirm authenticity".

This is another feature to help scammers look legit, I still get a ridiculous number of nuance calls.

I got some insider news that Mark Gurman doesn't even have. I have a cousin working in the marketing department and they are introducing this free the first two years. After that they will charge business for this as part of their service revenue scheme.
I can believe it.

You "used" to have a cousin that worked for Apple, after you outed them for leaking LOL
