While there is a fine distinction between pornography and artistic nudity, I think Apple made a good call in taking such quick action against the app.

keep it simple, dont allow any app on they shows any of the naughty bits. then it doesn matter if it is porn or art :)

Cripes, people...it's all subjective and malleable, and is culture-specific. It--meaning anyone's definition of freedom, porn, censorship, morès, etc.--is not cast in concrete, it's not universal, and I fail to see what this whole string is about.

It amounts to "Is too...Is not". I'm thinking most of the posters are under 25, because after a while in the real world (post academia) you understand that it's really not black and white, it's shades of gray. Virtually every moral position contains elements of inconsistency. There's absolute zero Kelvin (at least in this universe) and very little else absolute.

Get used to it, or find yourself overwhelmed by life.

Wow, for some reason I got a great laugh out of this...:)

Would I be able to post nudity if none of the models were attractive because nobody seems to think thats porn. Its more national geographic like. I wonder.....

And so it begins...:D

It boils down to science.

National Geographic nudity is far different from porn. I think apple would accept that. I wonder if these models would be interested.
