Apple Wired Keyboard Problems

Short and simple. The wired keyboard (using extension) does this when i try to use it with my MacBook Pro Retina (mid 2012)

it also acts like a key is pressed when i try to use other apps.

I have already reset the SMC and PRAM did a reboot, plugged it into a windows computer (doesn't work properly) have yet to try another Mac, but I'm about to.

anybody else experiencing major apple wired keyboard problems?
anybody know of any fixes?

i searched and could not find this problem specifically. If this has been discussed please point me in the right direction. Thank You 🙂

(Translation: sounds like the alt key is stuck down)

Stuck key is a good guess. Got compressed air? Blow around suspect keys (all is you have enough air) If you find the sticky key, use a moist thin rag around it's edges if possible.
