I am having a problem with my wireless keyboard in that if I leave it sit for a few moments without touching it, It stops responding unless I press a bunch of keys as if to wake it up. It only does this in Windows 7 in bootcamp. I'm not sure if anybody else has this problem since all I can find on the internet is either it works perfectly or they can't get it to connect at all.

I can get my keyboard to connect via bluetooth and it works great until I leave it alone for too long, then it basically goes to sleep and I have to wake it up to use again. This is especially frustrating in games.

Everything seems to be up-to-date but I can't figure out why I have this problem.

I fixed my problem. If anyone else has a similar issue here is what I did:

Go to:

Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers

double click on "Apple Built-in Bluetooth"

select the "Hardware" tab, select "Apple Built-in Bluetooth" and click "Properties"

Click "Change Settings" button at the bottom of next window

Select the "Power Management" tab and finally deselect the check box that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" and click "OK"

If you do this it will prevent your apple branded wireless products from "going to sleep"
