Apple wireless keyboard green light won't stop

Anybody know why I have a steady green flashing light? Googled it but no joy finding a solution. I can't get it connected to my iPad?

I believe when the light is flashing, it's attempting to make a Bluetooth pairing.

You might want to delete the keyboard from the iPad and attempt to re-pair it.
