Hi everyone, i bought a wireless keyboard (aluminium model). But it wont pair with my older 2.4ghz iMac or my relatively new MacBook Pro.

Iv tried most methods iv seen on help forums including:
— Trashing the bluetooth plist
— Resetting the PRAM (multiple times)

But nothing seems to work. It finds my keyboard but when it says pairing it fails and shows the error "The pairing attempt was unsuccessful. Make sure your keyboard is in range of the computer (it is), turned on and discoverable (it is)."

Any idea why this might be?
Sam

Yeah, fully recharged energizers. Keyboard lights up fine and connects. Just doesnt pair :(

are you using rechargeable alkalines in there? that could be the problem, i tried using those in my mouse and it wouldn't work either. switched back to plain old AA and it worked fine.

Do you mean NiMh? My Eneloops (NiMh) are fine in my wireless mouse and all other wireless devices I have that are designed for alkalines.
