why would anyone wanna use something like this is beyond me, when there is something that 100% better and safer and works on all devices. thanks but no thanks apple i will just continue to use my bitcoins. bitcoins already work all around the world and work on any smart phone and is 100% safer i and most importantly i don't have to give anyone any information at all unlike applepay that wants all my info.

Bitcoin isn't really that good or trustworthy of a currency though, judging by the fact that businesses that accept it convert BTC immediately to USD or some other currency after payment. Bitcoin software is also a usability nightmare compared to the paper American currency I have in my pocket.

I dunno if it's an international thing or just a UK thing, but here you register your phone number with your bank (via an interbank service called PayM) and then people can send you money from their bank app. Since my bank app uses TouchID to log in it's already a very easy to use solution.
