I received the AppleCare agreement number in email this morning for my iPhone X. The expiration date is 10/27/2019. This is wrong. The official launch is tomorrow, and I won’t have my phone until tomorrow. Apple has imho fraudulently stolen a week of coverage from me.

Anyone else? Has this happened in the past?

I’m going to open a case with Apple. It’s not right.

Follow-up to my own post.

Under Apple support, there is a category for AppleCare. There is an option to update purchase date.

I tried it, and it won’t let me do anything because my phone isn’t active yet. So I’m guessing that the date will automatically update when I activate my phone.

This may be a false alarm.
