I just got an email regarding AppleCare+ for my new iPhone order... does AppleCare+ for anyone else expire before the September 25 launch date? (albeit in two years time)

For example mine reads:
IPHONE 6S
Hardware Serial No.
FJWHCEUELSIW
Coverage Period End Date September 19, 2017
Policy No. 5109820745

I mean unless the phone shows up today this doesn't seem okay.

Yes, mine expires on the 18/9/17.

Have a read of the terms and conditions at the bottom of the email..

The date will update at when you activate the iPhone :)

Lol I told people that Apple does this in another thread but they didn't believe me. They claimed people would be suing etc. LOL. This is typical of when I've ordered Macs or other AppleCare covered items in the past.

I just purchased AppleCare+ for my iPhone 6S in store. On the email receipt it said expiring Sept 21, 2017...my phone is already activated for sure and I've been using it since launch day. So my AppleCare coverage is ending early somehow?
