AppleCare for iPad
My son has accidentally broke the iPad bye bending it in the middle he didn’t do it on purpose we don’t know how it happened the screen is cracked and it’s bent in half almost in half but it is bent will Apple replace it with the new iPad nine or still be iPad eight

You should contact Applecare or take it into an Apple store so they can assess the damage. If Apple determines the damage was accidental, they will likely replace it with the same model and you'd have to pay the accidental damage fee.
 
iPad bent in half, Apple could just refuse to provide replacement or ask for full price or whatever. I guess proving the damage is accidental would be a huge challenge on its own tbh. Give it a shot, tho I wont hold my breath.

There was this recent thread where a user's iPad got smashed accidentally with a crowbar, and Apple replaced it:

 
I might have exaggerated about the bending in half, it’s bent just from using it and maybe leaning on it while in bag
 
Apple will replace it with an iPad 8 and there will be a $49 service fee as per the terms of the AppleCare+ warranty.
It is considered accidental damage which is covered.
