Hey guys, I bought an AppleCare for my Iphone about 1 year ago and forgot about it. Problem is that ~1 year ago means about 12.5 months, and thus cannot activate it.

So, I wanted to know if I can do one or both:

1) Sell it on ebay/craigslist. I know it's not used, I opened it today, and even if I get 30 bucks for it, better than 0.

2) Use it with my next iphone, when/if this one breaks. Say, in 2 years time, when the AppleCare is 3 years old (but unused), can I still used it with an Iphone? What if instead of a 3G that it was bought for, if I get a 3GS, would it work with the different model?

Thanks for the info guys. Live long and prosper.

Yes, you can either sell the unused code and email the buyer the code and the instructions on the box to activate it.
Or save it for later towards your future iphone purchase.
