My one year warranty for my iPod touch expires this weekedn. I didn't even realize that until 5 minute ago.

Anyways, I thought I'd ask for y'all thoughts on whether or not it's worth it—and if I should buy it or not.

It is $60 and extends my AppleCare for another year. I do plan on buying the next revision of the iPod touch if it's worthwhile. Would the AppleCare help my resell value enough to justify the purchase? I know it's $20 on ebay, but I don't trust buying AppleCare on ebay.

It definitely helps push the resale value. While everyone else is selling old iPods that are going for cheap, you can advertise that yours includes a warranty. If I was a buyer, I'd definitely put that as a consideration, judging the number of possible problems that can arise.

I always get AppleCare for my Apple items - I've never EVER regretted it, especially after getting my computer serviced many times and a brand new iPhone after my first one crapped out.
