AppleCare for multiple Homepods

If I buy a HomePod and get AppleCare and then buy another at a later time should I get AppleCare for that one too or will it cover both?

AppleCare only covers one device, so you'll need to buy it as well for another HomePod.

Applecare is specific to one device when you purchase it at the time or a later date. But it does not cover multiple HomePods as you're asking.

Single product, by serial number, as noted above. It wouldn't make sense for apple to have it cover a number of homepods.
