Hello.

I bought my uMB 2008/10/14. I bought an applecare (just serial #) from ebay about a month ago and it registered just fine. I checked my warranty status last week to find that I'm out of warranty! I visited this URL:

Code:
https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do

and entered my serial #. It says:

Code:
Coverage: Out of Warranty

If I click more information, it says:

Code:
Telephone Technical Support: Active
Your product is eligible for telephone technical support under the AppleCare Protection Plan.
Expires: October 14, 2011

Repairs and Service Coverage: Expired
Your product is not covered for hardware repairs and service, but you may be able to pay for the repair you need through an Apple-authorized technician.

I regularly checked day by day for a week, but the status stays put. One thing to note is that my uMB should be covered by 1-year warranty at least.
However, it's out of warranty! Telephone support till 2011/10/14 though.

What should I do? Any suggestion is welcomed.

Do you have the receipt of when you bought the uMB?

If that, call AppleCare up, and tell them that your 1 year should still be vaild. They should ask you to fax your receipt.

Yes, do call. Tele support is supposed to be 90 days. 2011 is far more than that from here....
