My Apple aluminum wired keyboard has been acting up lately. Certain keys stop working at random moments in time. Anyhow, I only have one mac under warranty. That is an 11" macbook air. I recall in the past that Apple doesn't have any specific warranties on their peripherals, but they "mate" them to a product's serial number. They have no verification (or they have had none in the past), and just ask for a serial number of a mac under Apple Care. I have been able to get keyboards replaced in the past like this, but that was about 7 years ago. I haven't had a keyboard break on me since this aluminum one.
It says it was manufactured in 2007, but I got it around 2009-2010. What are your thoughts? Do you think they'll replace it?
