AppleCare MBP replacement hard drive...faulty?

Hi

I just got my 15 inch 2.2 ghz core2duo MPB back from the apple store. The hard drive was replaced due to a freezing issue.

I used to have a fujitsu hard drive, but got a Hitachi that makes metallic clicking noises. Both are 120gb. The noises sound like the head moving across the platter. The Fujitsu was dead silent. Is this normal with Hitachi hard drives?

What are you doing when you hear this? It is most likely just the the hard drive parking the head.

Whenever the hd is accessed, such as opening a program. Otherwise it stays pretty quiet. The SMART status is verified.
