I'm looking into purchasing a 15" PB, but I can't get them new from Apple anymore because they are no longer for sale in the online store, so I would have to buy refurb.

Can you purchase APP (the extended 3 year) on a refurb Mac and activate it and still have the (total) 3 year extended warranty or is it limited to the limited warranty?

Thanks!

Haha, yup, you can. I know a few people that have done it.

You also know that they come with the same 90 day/1 year warranty a brand new mac does right? Only thing different with a refurb is the ugly brown box. :p

...ok ok, I'm going to bed now...really this time!
