I have to say that the support from Apple regarding the Studio display and AppleCare is just plain awful and completely not ready for commercial use. In Australia you get a complementary 7 day coverage and then sign up post that. However, the email they send says that the display will appear in "My Devices" in Apple. I had to lodge a docket and speak to them 3 tiomes before they could informa me that this was an incorrect statement and the links in the email should be ignored. They provided a checkcoverage link instead. Having expired the 7 days coverage and trying to sign up post the 7 days then the Applecare web page itself is broken and does not display the images on the page. You need to guess that clicking a box around the description is how to proceed to purchase. Even after doing that guess work and signing up for an annual payment, they then send a email message with yet another link that states the device will appear in the "My Devices" section. Clicking on that however leads you to a broken page that says your device is not covered. The URL in the supplied email looks like its from some one doing blue/green testing because its now got an addition of "-pilot" in the url. After all of that another email comes in that states they are going to charge the Annual fee every month! The entire support looks like it is done by a team who are learning the basics. Now I need to log another ticket and talk to them as I do not want to pay my annual renewal every month. And then it also states you can manage your billing via iTunes!.....seriously. I'm still waiting for a receipt of payment. Who knows what that is going to say. What an absolutely awful customer experience. Never seen anything so bad.

I purchased AppleCare for my Studio Display and had zero issues with the procedure here in Germany. The only misleading information is that the display will appear under my Devices, which is unfortunately not true. I got the documents though and the mail statement with the coverage for my monitor, so it's good.
Of course the monitor should be visible under my devices, but maybe that will change soon.

Sounds like its country related then. I can not believe they can even get the basics incorrect like annual charging turning up as monthly. All the links supplied to date are incorrect as well as references to itunes.

For a stationery item and from my experience with Apple's display panels this thing is just going to last a long time without issue. It's good to see it in Apple Support app but if not, we can always find support in the generic categories down below.
