Hi

I was reading online that Apple has extended the time in which you can purchase AppleCare+ for your iPhone from 60 days to 1 year.

Is this applicable for UK customers?
 
It should be. If you try your serial number on the American Check Coverage site, it should say eligible for AppleCare+. The UK checker doesn't seem to have been updated yet. The quickest way to find out for sure is to download the Apple Support app and type in AppleCare, select Purchase an AppleCare agreement and start a chat or phone call with Apple Support. Shouldn't take long.
