Hi guys, new to forum here and could not find in search so here goes. I have an iphone 5 that was locked when originally bought under a Telus contract here in the great white north.

My ? is I had the phone factory unlocked by a third party and was wondering if I had a claim under the apple care + and they decide to replace the phone will they give me a refurbished factory unlocked phone or a telus locked refurb. I realize that apple is the one that unlocks from there servers so they would know regardless but was just wondering...

If you replace it and its now unlocked they should replace it with an unlocked iphone.
Make sure you tell them that the phone is carrier unlocked when you do bring it in.
