I bought my MacBook Pro last week and did not yet buy the AppleCare. I bought it through the education discount. Where can I get the best price for AppleCare? I looked through the MacRumors AppleCare guide and it said that the Apple education store had AppleCare at significant savings, but I saw the same old $240 price in there.

eBay or L.A. Computer. Read this thread regarding the former, the latter is the cheapest from an actual retailer it seems.

L.A. Computers. I wouldn't buy from eBay. Lots of scammers around there and it's not that cheap

My bad - I was looking at the education store (which I qualify for) and assumed that was the standard price. I'm guessing it's worth it for $239 for a MacBook Pro.

Yeah, it's normally $349. Which makes L.A. Computer a decent savings.
