I just ordered my engraved 11" iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard. Delivering in 2 business days, which is faster than I was expecting for an engraved unit. BTW, here are the deals here in Canada:

This represents a $10 decrease in the gift card amount for the Mac mini, iPad Pro, and iPad Air this year. However, I wonder if it may have been because last year they made a mistake in the terms and conditions, which listed a gift card in Canada of €100 (which was a little under CA$150).

For applecare+ since Ive never gotten it before..do I have to buy it today with purchase or can I wait til after I receive it to buy it? Also, lets say after a few months, or whatever, the ipad becomes defective for whatever reason and cant be fixed, do they give me a brand new one or is still "factory recertified" or "refurb" just want to know before I buy thanks

I don't know about the second question. But you can buy AppleCare+ within a certain time frame after you get the iPad, but in my experience, I don't believe you get the education discount. At least you don't when you try to buy it from the device.

Ok cool thanks so much for the info. Yeah Ive never bought applecare for anything before, not even my macbook pro, just didnt know if lets say the ipad goes bad for whatever reason, just stops functioning, if apple would give me a brand new one or a recertified one, for that its not worth it for me I dont plan on dropping it or anything, just worried about it being defective after a while

I just purchased mine on Monday and they said I qualify. Online support had me reach out to 1(800)676-2775 and then I gave them my order number and was good to go with the gift card being emailed to me.
Thanks! I contacted Apple online through their chat and they also said the same thing.

The baseline iPad Pros are more expensive this year, so that $100 gift card is in essence a smaller promotion.
Yes, but for the extra $$ you're getting a lot more features and improvements: M4 vs M2; base storage increased to 256GB from 128GB; new OLED vs mini-LED display; etc.

Well worth the extra $100 IMO.
The 11 inch base model was always $799, no matter the chip or storage. The M1 doubled the storage for the base model to 128gb and it stayed the same price. The $200 price increase is still a $200 price increase.

Apple is offering a $150 gift card with any new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, or iMac, and a $100 gift card with the purchase of any new M4 iPad Pro, M2 iPad Air, or Mac mini. The gift card can be used towards purchases of Apple products and accessories, App Store apps, subscriptions to services like Apple Music, iCloud+ storage, and more.
But $150 nowadays doesn’t go long ways like it used to…….

Sigh…… wish they would just give away entry level iPhone SE just like when they used to include iPods with Mac purchase during Back to School promo…….

Usually, a full device replacement on AppleCare+ (for iPad or iPhone) will be an Apple refurb, not a true brand new device in box. That being said, Apple Refurb is extremely high quality (much higher than you'd expect from anywhere else, Best Buy, Amazon "Recertified", etc.) - a lot of ppl here buy from the Apple Refurb site to get good savings.

It's so good, you can even buy AppleCare+ on refurb devices, as if they were new. And your AppleCare+ would continue to be in existence on the "Refurb device" you get for the remainder of your term.... so if anything were to go wrong with the refurb device, you still have AppleCare+ on it... eg. vs a lot of other warranties, if they give you a fully new/refurb device, they usually consider the warranty done and fulfilled...

You didn't have to wait to get one before, as it's not part of the promo.

But with this deal, for $100 more than the basic, you can get the Air: double the storage, nicer screen, and a better processor. Just putting that out there...

That is a really good point! Will think again.

Ordered an 11” iPad Pro 256GB with the Magic Keyboard to replace my Air Gen3 64GB. Got $130 for the trade-in which felt more than fair. Already got the gift card via email and used it to order the Pencil Pro. Excited about it all being delivered tomorrow!

Edu discount is kind of trash this year. For example, 15" M3 MBA 16GB/512GB is 1,599 with discount + 150 GC.
Same build is 1,439 in the refurbished store, so exactly what benefit is there to buying from Edu vs Refurb market this year, exactly?

I called applecare, the lady told me that either way doesnt matter if its the regular 1 yr warranty or the applecare+ I would get a refurb ipad, so applecare isnt worth it for me, I can tell in 2 weeks from getting it if its defective in anyway applecare she said is more for people who take it out of the house maybe drop it, something happens to it, a cracked screen, etc..so will ski

I decided to take advantage of this special (with my gift cards) and get a 13" Space Black 1TB with White Magic Keyboard, Denim Smart Folio, and Apple Pencil Pro to use for work. Slated to arrive Monday. $967 out of pocket. The last iPad Pro I had was a 2020 11".

I am from class 11 and I will buy a macbook air within a few days, so what I want to know is that will I be qualified for the offer or will the retailer confirm by any means both by pickup and delivery ? Thanks in advance

Most of us would prefer an additional discount of $150 than a gift card that you have to figure out how to use.
If you’re going to use AI then the $150 can be used as a partial payment for a new iPhone in 3 months

Read the fine print… they almost got me. You buy the $150 gift card, they dont give it to you. Then they give you the $150 edu discount. Net benefit 0.
