PowerBook G5 and iPhone 9 coming spring 2026!I guess people have finally "folded" on Powerbook G5; everyone talked about it in future products article, but now no one does.
But would Apple surprise us?
Incremental improvement, pretty normal tbh.I find it hard to believe they’ll remove the notch next year and change the design again the following year
But they still are - pro models in the fall. People also buy things irrationally and on a whim. Moving the base model/cheaper releases to the spring and keeping the expensive pro models in the fall for holiday season makes a lot of sense from a sales perspective. People will then always buy the newest pro model before Christmas and those who didn't or the more budget conscious shoppers will buy a "nice new fresh" model in the spring. When you release all models at one time every year it causes people to not buy any iPhones after Christmas really bc they're just waiting for the next one in September. It also forces people to buy the pro model in the fall or wait until the next spring for the cheaper model.Someone explain why spring 2026 launches “make sense” when if these products have been ready for months, launch them for this holiday shopping season - not when folks are paying off the bills.
And what? Read about politics and the depressing and insanely idiotic state of the US currently? Yeah, no thanks. Tech, at most times, is apolitical, and I want to keep it that way and just enjoy the fascinating developments in this industry that happens.Well if you want to be surprised, maybe avoid this site and other rumours? That could work…

To hell with surprisesLOL - here we go guys - surprise is completely ruined for the next 2 years - expect nothing unexpected....even when Tim Cook proudly proclaims "one more thing" and announces the foldable iPhone next fall, and then the following year, reintroduces the iMac Pro again with Apple Silicon, we won't be surprised...because of this insane leak....lol....so sad...

I was the same way. Decided to buy a ONN device. It wasn't only the whole Apple TV mess. It was also this forcing of liquid glass on people. I was an Android user over the phone for a couple of years, but I still had an Apple TV, Mac, Ipad, and Homepod. Now I'm trying to just get away from the Apple Ecosystem, even though they still have a variation of Itunes to buy/rent movies or TV that I could still use. Still, in terms of the hardware, I don't think I've been this disappointed in Apple since the 90s. It actually was the Ipod and Itunes that brought me back to the company. I wonder what it will be in the future, if any.Apple lost me as a potential customer for the Apple TV. I waited since the summer for it to come to fruition based on rumors and, thanks to a resident member here who pointed out you can do Airplay on Roku, I decided to go w/ Roku instead. $25 for a 4K Roku streaming stick was hard to pass up at that.
Maybe one day Apple will get it out the door but eh...
Functionality aside, both the Notch and Dynamic Island serve as styling elements to instantly identify the device as an Apple iPhone.I find it hard to believe they’ll remove the notch next year and change the design again the following year
maybe, its geological terminology : three sections of unequal lengths, early being the first section (may compose 90 per cent of the entire period, middle and late refer to specific events that comprise of very little time. in other words when the product arrives that will be by definition early 2026 - don't worryWhat do they mean by early 2026? Is that January?
Riiiight...The 2027 iPhone will have an "enclosure on the front and back that curves around the device edges," which allows for a bigger screen with no bezels.
