Debatable, I use to think that but then these new generation of AirPods etc have to many positives to overlook.I went back to wired headphones, the sound is much better.

It's just how they operate as a company. Also sponsoring MacRumors (and astroturfing the forums). It’s really odd to me that Samsung tries to rip on Apple and constantly also steals from them as well.
A bit weird to compare cheapest wired headphones (10 dollars?) to very expensive wireless (500 dollars). Any wired headphone priced as the airpods max (or other wireless cans) will blow them out of the water in terms of sound quality. Probably you need to spend only ~125-150 dollars on wired headphones to get similar or better sound quality. Just depends on what you prefer and willing to fork out for BT and "ease of use".depends on what wired....the cheapest wired headphones still are no match to airpods max or something similar
I'm not convinced of your comment about "uber expensive" hearing aids, unless you're referring to the ones that are implanted next to the eardrum at an audiologist's office. Not very convenient if one has a problem. And by being uber expensive, for most people they're irrelevant.
I've compared AirPods Pro to $2K hearing aids and the AirPods Pro win by a mile in terms of natural sound. Expensive hearing aids are continually processing audio, which makes them sound unnatural and totally messes with spatial localization of environmental sounds. Even in "music" mode, the $2K hearing aids I've tried sound tinny.
It might be sweat or other dirt dust on the contacts, I have to clean the contacts regularly on my Shokz open ear (which I use when jogging/hiking, so I can hear outside things also). Same thing on the Shures. Pencil erasers work good.I've had enough Shure die on me in under 18 months that I won't touch them again. I also have a weird issue with nearly every earbud pair I've gotten from Beats, or Google where out of no place the Left or Right starts to not reliably charge. Somehow, Samsung is the ONLY wireless brand I've had be reliable for me.
Hearing aids shouldn't even be in this conversation because they are designed for a completely different purpose than ear buds or in ear monitors.Decent hearings aids are 5 grand and up per ear. All the companies have bargain models 3 grand an under that lack most of the features you really need. No one has yet to release a cheap hearing aid that compares to the expensive ones.
PS. If you're not convinced, Google. It's not the OP's job (or mine) to educate you on something you clearly know nothing about that you could have resolved un about 30 seconds.
The ignorance is Stroooong with this one! lolApple - the best or nothing

Wow I'm impressed!
From the first LAME-ARSE post about the Galaxy Buds3 Pro's to this posting and video it took about only 5mins before beginning to spill the hate.
1st ... why is Arn or our video host here specifically stating that you HAVE to turn on SSC Codec (the 24-bit 96Hz Hi-Res audio on the compatible S23/S24 series & Z Fold 5/6, and Z Flip 5/6) and get this right ...
BUT
Completely ignore the fact that you ALSO can turn on the Ambient Noise Voice Control feature also within the Wear app on such compatible Samsung phones?
Well its BECAUSE HE does NOT have nor USE a Samsung phone to test with these Buds3 Pro's and thus will always give a lackluster review or hands-on review.
This really irks me because it gives an incomplete hands-on review.
Get it together people please.
There are a LOT of great options out there and many are a LOT better than what you get with AirPods Pro's v1/2. The competition has seriously stepped up their game - but you'll need to leave the Apple ecosystem to experience what you're missing. Yes Apple created great TWS in-ear and semi-in-ear headphones and I'm SUPER GRATEFUL for it along with the awesome purposeful design. But there is more to discover.
Spot on!!!Both companies are guilty of it. It's the corporate version of keeping up with the Joneses.
How long has it taken Apple to copy Android's widgets or stacked widgets. Only in iOS 18 can we finally have open spaces and the freedom to arrange apps as we please on the home screen so the grid of apps don't obscure a favorite wallpaper or photo in the background.
Apple just has too many apologists. If Apple comes out with something it's immediately touted as revolutionary, but if Apple copies the Galaxy or Oura Ring later then it's the same old excuse of "Apple isn't about being first".
I use the best tool for the job and that's not always from Apple. I love MacOS but am not a fan of iOS/iPadOS.
I dropped one of my original AirPods into a puddle of water. They worked perfectly fine afterwards. They were still working well 2.5 years later when I upgraded.I just dropped an APP2 in a bowl of vinegar and chilli oil (alongside some dumplings) 30 minutes ago. Pulled the thing out, looking very yellow... Ran it under a tap for 30 seconds with a good soapy scrub to return it to pure white. A quick dry with a tissue, and it's working fine. I'm not saying this would not be the case with Buds3, but it seemed topical!
Glad that the Jabra's are working with you. I bought some in March and they'v been really problematic. The left one has just died completely and the right one intermittently stops working. Warranty replacements are arriving tomorrow, as are new AirPods Pro. I'll see how they compare and probably use the Jabra's for the gym and the AirPods for everything else.On the whole I agree. But I’ve been using the Jabra Elite buds for a year now and I have to say, the trade off is worth it. I may not get all the toys, but I get everything that’s important, and most critically, they actually stay in my ears 100% of the time with no issues. I can’t get AirPods of any variety to do that for love or money, rendering them sorta pointless.
I saw a similar article before my Buds3 Pro arrived but didn't have any issues swapping cushion sizes. I used the same approach as my AirPod Pro and no issues.Oh golly gee...
