Has anyone in the US received their free airpods yet? I ordered my mac mini with free airpods about a month ago and still nothing. Just wondering how long it takes usually since I imagine there are quite a few people taking advantage of the offer every year.

Yes, mine actually shipped within 24 hours. Does your order status page reflect any updates?

No, it doesn't even show up in my orders. Small detail, I did have to call to get it added to my order, because I ordered the mac mini the day before the offer started. The rep said that it was showing on their end as being attached to the order but had no updates on when it would ship.

I don't really have a use for Airpods, already own Airpods pro, so I just ordered myself a refurb macbook air with 16 GB ram. I won't have to sell the airpods to break even and I save money on the tax.

Buy an iPad Air at an already discounted price, then get a free pair of AirPods, this is an unbelievable good deal.
you are meaning the edu discount or ontop of another discount?

anyone think think this is worth doing if you are considering the 2021 mbp versus buying current m1 mbp?

It’s always the first world countries 😭 i just wish they also offer promotion to developing countries so we can also upgrade
How did you get yours in the first place and which country are you talking about?

This year the AirPods are kinda old, and I already have those. I think the iPad Pro will get a major upgrade next year.

Did you get a M1 processor or Intel? If you don't know the difference then I'd recommend you return the computer or at the very least check what applications you use and research if they are usable on the M1 macs. From the very next OS, M1 Macs will have functionality that the Intel Macs won't have. That will just get more common over the next few years. And if you're only using Apple apps, then I def recommend the M1. The M1 Air is a great computer in comparison to the intel Air.
