Who’s max 🤔.The movie will definitely be more exciting than the races in 2023; somebody other than Max might win a race.

Those are the fake IMAX. The real IMAX theatres have 10 story tall screens
it's going to be loud and have lots of fast first person zoomy sequences, maybe even some explosions. I figure that's a recipe for IMAX success; "Super Speedway" did really well back... in the film IMAX days... oh dear, that came out in 1997.I feel like this movie will be an epic box office disaster. But I guess Tim is an F1 fan, so that's okay.
That might be, but this movie was insanely expensive at 300m, and June-July is filled with blockbusters. Jurassic World (regardless of the quality) never misses to dominate the box office. I'm well aware Apple doesn't need to make money from it's films, but I just can't see this one breaks even.it's going to be loud and have lots of fast first person zoomy sequences, maybe even some explosions. We have quite a few ‘IMAX’ screens in the UK, yet for the film ‘Dunkirk’, I believe there were only 2 cinemas in the UKnthat could show it in its full aspect ratio. There's only like a dozen actual IMAX theatres though..
I’ll wait until the end to assess my decision to watch it, this isn’t likely to be a thoughtful movie, but it doesn’t hurt to think about a thing before you decide if it’s ‘for you.’
Because watching a film is an important life event, and watching a film that, with hindsight, you wished you hadn’t, can have severe ongoing consequences?
It’s just a film.
How do you know it wasn’t already filmed that way?Apple should've demanded the filmmakers to shoot this movie in Vision Pro format.
I got over it. Imax was those huge screens with that unique aspect ratio and dedicated analog cameras - now it's either DPs using large format cameras or a branding for cinemas with high end projectors (dual, if you're watching 3D) and good sound. In my city (Vienna, Austria) the last and only real IMAX closed in 2005 while the first "LieMAX" opened in 2009 - probably easier to stomach when there's a gap in between.I really hate that there’s “fake” everything lol. back in the day I would’ve never known that some IMAX screens aren’t “true IMAX”.
you’ll drink what you think is decent tequila and people say it’s not “real” tequila. you have some wagyu and people say how it’s not “real” wagyu.
gotta research everything these days..
But the Laser Projection at the Sony Center's IMAX screen is still quite better than compareable screens - so is the sound experience. As someone who values both, I have no problem with paying more for this.Yes I learned this the hard way. We used to have this HUGE IMAX theater that looked like an Egg and a Space rocket at the same time but it was closed down many years ago. Fast forward moving to Berlin and I saw that one of the cinemas offers „IMAX“ here and the tickets are like more than double of a normal movie and the screen was tiny compared to what I expected. It was basically the same size as any other theater screen, just curved. Never again at that price

12 Monkeys.Brad Pitt is just Brad Pitt in every film I've seen him in, like Clooney.

I can’t see this having any legs or mass appeal. Might have a decent opening weekend and then fade quickly.

I've been a die hard Formula 1 fan for over 20 years - and it looks bad. Like really bad! Why would you ever want to watch this, when you can watch stuff live and in depth content from the track and not some fictional story?
Lol. I used ChatGPT and copied and paste it over here.I think you left out the AMC Metreon Theater in San Francisco, CA...
