Didn't even know the ad. At least it advertises a successful product, unlike the HomePod one with FKA Twigs that, brilliant as it may have been, pushed a dud.

Better than average. Didn’t care for the bouncing against the building trying to get the woman’s attention otherwise it was a smooth feeling. However, if this was top honors then what was the competition?

”Mesmerizing“ seems a bit over-the-top to me.

Great ad! Reminded me a little bit of Fatboy Slim’s Weapon of Choice video by Spike Jonze (from almost 20 years ago 😳). Although the guy in the Bounce ad is cool, it’s tough to outcool Christopher Walken.

I don't know how these mega corporations think but I just saw this 2 min ad(I was under the impression that tv ads should be 30sec) and it didn't make me want to buy their Airpods, its just too vague, and a lot of luxury product companies use these vague ads like Mercedes.

"Mac vs PC" those ads made me want to buy a Mac from Apple.

I liked it. The sense of "freedom" of movement versus having wired headphones in the past hit me really well. Very well done.

Creative ad, but misleading...the AirPods 2 were not made to stay in people’s ears when exercising or moving their head, only the AirPod pros do that.

I've been exercising and jogging with Airpods for the last few years. I do not own the Pros. :p I can twirl my head as fast as I can and they stay in. Never had one drop out.

Everyone’s ears are different. That said I was PowerBeats/Plantronics only in the gym, until I noticed almost everyone was wearing AirPods, even before the AirPods Pro came around.

What surprises me is the number of people wearing normal airpods on the airplane. I had to crank mine up to 80% just to hear them. I wear a sealing pair of LGs for the airplane but they hurt after a few hours.

“Mac vs pc“ didn’t even cause a flicker of interest in buying a Mac either (similar to you not wanting to buy AirPods)

This ad didn’t make me buy AirPods either. But I previously bought them.

The add is metaphorical. Or - I guess It is also misleading that sidewalks, subway grates and car roofs can be playfully bounced upon (and even land you on the roof of a skyscaper). If your take-away was that this was an “exercising with AirPods” advertisement, you were more than “mislead”.

Annoying song, nonsensical action. Yup, pretty much what I would expect from a modern Apple ad. If the award was for technical merits then well done, but otherwise the ad itself is forgettable.

Something I haven’t been able to say about Apple’s ads in a long time...

That was very impressive.

I like the ad but I'd say Apple has been pretty consistent with it's ads being in a similar stule and most are pretty good. The guy dancing around the train station though some didn't like it, I liked it. I think prefer the ad for airpods with the girl dancing around the city which was also released this year, though I think the Flume song used has a lot to do with preferring that one as well.

Well deserved IMO; one of my favorite Apple ads in years.

It's also cool that they seemed to use the same technique that made Spike Jonze's HomePod ad possible: practical sets meticulously constructed and moved around before the seams were digitally removed.

This is one of my favourite Apple ads ever. Advertising isn't so much about selling you on a list of features of a product, it's about selling you on a feeling and Spike Jonze's HomePod ad did that for me. It's beautifully done but incredibly impressive how they pulled that off with practical effects.
