This is as original as the Grand Tour Top gear remake from 'Amazon Originals' lol..

Well, if you followed the history of that show the three hosts that made Top Gear a success didn't want to continue with the BBC after one got fired and so took "their" show to Amazon, which became one of the highest pirated shows in history even over GoT.

Your analogy would be more accurate by saying it's like the BBC trying to remake Top Gear without Jeremy, Richard and James and thinking it would be a success., which I hear is dreadful and they are changing host(s) already to save it.

So, how does this make my Mac work better with my WiFi work better with my phone work better with iTunes work better with Siri work better with ...?

Beats me...

All of my Apple products work extremely well together.

Maybe a trip to the Genius Bar would be beneficial?

Completely disagree. Top Gear was the trio as Top Gear's most recent ratings show. The trio took their talents and went elsewhere along with the exec producer and quite a bit of the film crew. GT is what TG was, and TG was gutted to whatever it is now.

With the greatest of respect, that doesn't make sense. Are you suggesting Apple has pulled their best engineers from critical projects and put them behind a camera? Do you think if they employed another eight hundred people, that suddenly every product would be perfect for everyone? I thought it was all about thinking outside the box, and cutting-edge innovation to humble even a MacRumours reader? But you're saying it's about throwing man hours at everything? You should write a scientific paper about your idea. We'll have the theory of everything by the end of the week.

Seriously, what nonsense. I'm no genius, but I do sometimes wish more people would think a little before reacting :)

Let me break it down for you. Resources A + B have previously gone into product and service development. Now A go to product & services while B goes to this "entertainment" pet project. Point, products and services have less resources than before.

EDIT: This continues to show that Tim is chasing the cool factor. Sad.

Genius Bar doesn't program and can't fix my software bug that causes the 30% battery shutdown.

When something isn't as scarce, it becomes less special. RIP Carpool Karaoke

was Carpool Karaoke ever "scarce?" Never watched the show but, judging by the number of times the stupid thing popped up in my news feeds, it seemed like that segment was on every night and like his only popular bit.

The version with Roberts and Clooney was pretty terrible. Without Corden I expect these will be worse.

Cordon is a great host with unexpected rhythm, singing ability and physical comedy. One of the things that makes Carpool Karaoke work is being amazed by Cordon's ability to keep up with guests. Change this dynamic and you might as well call the show something else.

With that said, I suggest this setting to Apple: Replace James Cordon with a (rotating) Apple Genius matching Cordon's talent that is driving to work at the Apple Store.

Another genius idea from the Apple in-house creative approved by the board.
Yes Apple, you’re hip, you’re with it. This is what the demographic that buys from iTunes will like.

What I'm saying is that Apple is taking its eye off of the products that made the company what it is. This is unnecessary as is that "Planet of The Apps" show in development. When Steve came back to Apple he simplified the product lineup into a four-square grid - one thing for the pros, one for non-pros. I'm not saying that Apple shouldn't look into other product categories, rather I wish they would simplify their product lineup, concentrate on what they do (or did) really well and leave this fluff to others.

Btw, I am CERTAINLY no genius either :D
